Head Start and Early Head Start are comprehensive child development programs which serve children from birth to age 5, pregnant women and their families.
They are child-focused programs and have the overall goal of increasing the child's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
Head Start services are also family-centered, offering family members many opportunities and support for growth and change. We believe that people can identify their own strengths, needs and interests and are capable of finding solutions that fit their individual needs.
