Early Childhood Educational Services are provided for young children up to school age in a variety of options:Center-based preschool in early childhood educational settings. Children attend 3-4 hours per day and breakfast and/or lunch and snacks are provided to meet the 1/3 of the child's daily nutritional requrements. Degreed teachers provide child and teacher-directed learning and play activities that enhance total child development. Home-based option in families' homes. Degreed teachers provide learning activities on regualrly scheduled home visits. Child development education and development materials are provided to parents; socializations opportunities are arranged for children to learn and play in a group setting. Combination programs provide education in early childhood classrooms and enhanced home visits. Children attend 3-4 hours per day and breakfast and/or lunch and snack are provided.
