Mortgage Foreclosure Prevention Assistance Program

The Mortgage Foreclosure Prevention Program (MFPP) is here to help address the problems when having difficulty making monthly mortgage payments.  The MFPP staff works to determine immediate needs, and together with the client will develop a plan to help meet those needs. The primary program services of MFPP include information and referral services, financial management, and advocacy on your behalf with lenders and/or mortgage company.

In order to be eligible for our program, applicant must be a homeowner and resident of Otter Tail or Wadena counties, or surrounding areas.  In addition, applicant must be committed to solving financial problems with long-term solutions.
