Mortgage Counseling/Foreclosure Prevention Assistance Program

Are you having trouble making your mortgage payment or trouble reaching your lender to work out a modified payment plan? Maybe we can help.

The Family Services staff works to determine immediate needs and to develop a plan to meet those needs. Services may consist of information and referral services, financial management, and advocacy on your behalf with lenders and/or mortgage company.

In order to be eligible for our program, applicant must be a homeowner and resident of Otter Tail or Wadena counties, or surrounding areas.  In addition, applicant must be committed to solving financial problems with long-term solutions.
