Region 5 Child Care Resource and Referral
Region 5 Child Care Resource and Referral is a program of the Otter Tail Wadena Community Action Council, Inc. in New York Mills and is funded by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
Serving Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd and Wadena counties:
- encourage child care provider recruitment and retention
- offer information and technical assistance to child care providers/programs interested in applying for grant programs to buy equipment, toys, books and other resources.
- provide information and technical assistance to those interested in beginning and/or expanding child care services.
- provide and share child care data on supply and demand, i.e. vacancies, average rates, policies, non-standard hour care, etc. for any community or county.
- offer community partnerships and collaborations
- work with community members and advisory committees.
